A streamlined and secure voting system is now available for use across the state of Idaho. The Secretary of State confirmed recently that Hart InterCivic’s Verity® Voting system passed rigorous testing and review and is certified for purchase by local Idaho jurisdictions. “This certification is a milestone for the voters of Idaho who deserve an easy-to-use and transparent voting experience. Counties are now free to make the Verity Voting system their top choice when they replace aging, perhaps unreliable, equipment,” said Phillip Braithwaite, President and CEO of Hart InterCivic.
“Hart InterCivic looks forward to partnering with more counties in the Northwest states, including expansion in Idaho. We have an executive presence in Boise, Idaho and are exploring plans to expand support staff and facilities in the area,” Braithwaite said.
Verity supports paper and audio ballots, is fully accessible to all voters and meets strict federal and Idaho standards. These are important features as local entities prepare for a busy presidential election year. As a recently introduced system, Verity uses the latest standards and protocols for security and usability. The supply chain is in place to support clients for decades, and the software is intuitive and easy to use.
In addition, local jurisdictions appreciate the compact size of Verity’s components. Warehousing and transportation are two big considerations in the cost of running elections. Not only does the briefcase design save warehouse space, the system is easy to transport and set up on Election Day.
