More than six weeks after the election, Waukesha County is nearing the end of its recount in the supreme court race.
Only a few wards remain to be counted, and the state’s Government Accountability Board said that it would post Waukesha’s new totals by the end of the week.
Waukesha was granted an extension by a Dane county judge, as the county said it could not complete its recount by the original May 9 deadline. An extension to May 26 was given.
